The Sharks used reverse psychology in their last game with Roxy's Entourage. They won the game by only allowing Roxy's to only score 8 more runs than the Sharks. You see this is a very important puritan victory for The Sharks. You are probably saying to yourself The Sharks lost the game, but what you are not looking at is the game as a frame on a time line. Roxy's is the number one ranked team in the division and they only won by 8 runs. The couple of games prior to this were by way lower ranked teams and by a way bigger amount of runs. The Sharks as you can see on our YouTube Imperial Sharks Page will show you the highlights of how the team really emerged from the depths of frustration and played like one incredibly large cohesive unit. Watching from the dug-out as The Sharks orchestrated their tactical disection of Roxy's offense in the 6th and 7th inning was an adrenalyn rush like none other. They were coming together as one and functioning like clock work. This has undoubtedly been the first time I can totally say I was proud of everyone out there that night. The Imperial Sharks are evolving rapidly and are really looking ahead to Season 2. Once we get thru Season 1 we will definitely know who our starters are going to be and we will also have some very strong Substitutes and Designated Hitters.
Hancock proved himself in the game against Roxy's Entourage. As the game went on he introduced Roxy's to some of his newest weapons. The progression of Hancock's pitching style has definitely become more diversed and aggressive. As he began to become a little fatigued in the 6th inning, from out of nowhere came Hancock's second wind and it was even more aggressive than the first 4 innings. Had this game went 2 more innings I truly believe his pitching would have gotten even stronger, which would have inspired our batting line up even more, causing them to rally together and potentialy have taken the game. Once Hancock understands how important his position truly is, you will see The Imperial Sharks bring in victory after victory.
